Big Poster
Metal: A Headbanger's Journey is a 2005 documentary that follows Sam Dunn, a 31 years old Canadian anthropologist and long-time metalhead as he goes around the world interviewing heavy metal band members and fans, in a quest to better understand the heavy metal music movement and community.

The film features interviews with dozens of metal band members, including members of Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse, and Kittie.

The interview bits are grouped into several chapters that explore different aspects of heavy metal as origins, evolution and subgenres, the fans, censorship, religion themes and satanism.
